Someone asked me, “Why should I attend the Stone when there are so many other religious denominations? What makes you different? My answer was to the point, “When you attend the Stone, we believe the most important thing that a person needs to know about the rest of their life is themselves! Consequently, at the Stone, we feel it is our mission to support you in fulfilling unknown potential.” You see, no matter your talents or your abilities, we sincerely believe you can take the necessary steps now to insure a fulfilling and secure future. In worship at the stone it has been previously stated that, “The second half of life need not mean regrets, disappointment or want.” We’ve Got Too Much Left to Do! My friend, at Cornerstone there is a strong current that is a part of our DNA that says, “ Avoiding an unhappy future depends directly upon what you do today.” Each week as we apply this truth, it is the first step in avoiding “Problems.” We believe that in preparing our week, it all starts at the Stone. It gives us balance. Finally, welcome to the better half of life. Benjamin Franklin once said, At twenty years of age the will reigns; at thirty the wit; at forty the judgment.” Listen, whether you are 35, 45, 55, or 60+, you are a part of a new life social revolution. Life’s second half will allow you to do more and all of the above. Life has room for just as much challenge and adventure, but with an important difference. You are viewing your future from a different perspective. You are a part of this great possibility. At the “STONE” we believe this is not a myth, it is the facts of Faith!
